SERVICING A JMI DOMINO BASS AMPLIFIER HEAD
This photo was taken by the owner….showing it piggy-backed on the original speaker cabinet.
The head itself. I really don't think I would have given this the title of a "bass amp!"
I think the output jack socket has been added here? I believe the speaker cable was originally fitted as an integral fixture.
The block of wood (at the centre/bottom) has also been added to stop the chassis from flapping about. (Like the AC4, this does flap about a bit and is not really very well secured).
A few components needed attention.
Most importantly though was the duff power transformer - taken off and needing a rewind here.
And after the rewind…..being re-fitted in this photo.
Job done…and looking very nice too!
And finally, all wiring and components replaced/sorted too.
